01 / Commencements & Non-Refundable Deposit Protocols

All commissions accepted by Provincial Upholstery require an advance, strictly non-refundable deposit ledger payment of exactly fifty per cent (50%) of the total quoted project contract value. Workshop staging schedule slots, timber component allocation, and material procurement pathways will not be activated under any circumstances until these deposit funds are fully cleared inside Provincial Upholstery bank account. This upfront deposit payment is completely non-refundable once paid and serves to secure workshop floor assets prior to the physical commencement of any upholstery project, frame dismantling, or foundation spring lashing. The client explicitly acknowledges that this deposit is non-refundable due to the custom, bespoke artisanal nature of heritage conservation craftsmanship. The remaining fifty per cent (50%) balance must be settled in full upon physical completion of the bench work, prior to any dispatch transport scheduling or atelier release.

02 / Structural Integrity & Timber Audits

Our traditional conservation atelier operates under deep structural guidelines. When an antique furniture skeleton enters our Welby workshop, it undergoes a comprehensive structural timber audit. If our master bench uncovering process reveals hidden historical joint degradation, internal cellular timber wood rot, or ancient carpentry misalignments that were invisible during initial specification, our studio reserves the absolute right to issue a supplementary technical remediation fee. No foundation spring lashing or horsehair matrix engineering will proceed until frame stability compliance is met.

03 / Material Procurement & Specifications

Provincial Upholstery operates within an exclusive partner framework for all high-end textile allocations. All premium upholstery leathers, custom hand-dyed patinated skins, and museum-grade washed linens must be procured directly through our partner channel at Fernanda Studio to guarantee physical compliance and durability tolerances. Third-party or client-supplied textiles are strictly excluded from our workshop floor unless explicitly signed off by our design director. Highly delicate, heavy-pile fabrics such as luxury velvet are explicitly barred from tailored loose cover templates.

04 / Transit & Transit Liabilities

Logistics, shipping, collection, and transport transit operations for fragile heritage assets are the sole commercial and financial responsibility of the client or the procuring interior architecture firm. While our studio maintains a secure, climate-controlled, state-of-the-art secure holding space during the active bench engineering phase, Provincial Upholstery accepts zero liability for structural or surface degradation sustained during third-party transport transit. Clients are required to maintain independent transit insurance validation across all high-value historical commissions.
